Why Verification is Required
The Vault contains adult content. UK law requires that access is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. Verification is therefore a legal requirement, not just a formality.
How Verification Works
As this is a small, private site, verification is carried out manually by me. I may ask for one of the following:
- A government-issued ID shown on a brief video call
- A scan or photo of ID sent securely by email (not stored, only viewed)
- If I already know you personally or you arrive via invitation, this step may be skipped, as your age has already been confirmed
What I Record
I do not keep copies of ID. I only record an admin note on your membership account, e.g. “Age check completed on 27/08/2025 by Patrick. ID seen and verified.”
Membership Rules
- Membership is free but exclusive
- Every application is reviewed manually
- Access is only granted once verification is complete
- Sharing content outside The Vault is not permitted
Privacy
Your privacy is respected at every stage. Verification data is never shared with third parties and is only retained as long as you remain a member. If you leave, all records are erased.
